  • Sarah, Carmen, Nancy, Dianne, Cassandra . . . unbelievable that all the jazz radion stations are being silenced . . . what a shame! Thanks to the one posting this.

  • @BKDotDavis

    You're welcome.

You're right. It's a shame, so, we have to make as much noise as possible so it doesn't continue to happen.

  • @TheReturnOfStephan1 what stations being silenced?

  • @theblueangel28 Many jazz & smooth jazz(especially)stations are being shut down, converted into more lucrative rap, rock & corporate pop stations.

  • Impressive, Great!!!!Greetings from Buenos Aires and Thanks for the Post!

  • love how she just have you waiting for the next phrase of the note!!!!!

  • Spetacular, moving, versatile, noble and moving interpretation!

Thank you so much for uploading the video of this great brazilian song with this remarkable interpretation!

  • words dont describe this. open your mind.

  • @cuoredeinidi You are so correct about the beautiful music being rare and precious. It makes me weep that there is little beautiful music happening today. Oh, it is there in rare pockets but not the norm anymore. Sass was the best and missed by those of us who love the beauty of genius.

  • Wonderful performance by Sarah Vaughan. There as genius in every note she bends. And the instrument sounds great. She got chops.

This is one of the most beautiful melodies ever written. Unlike "Waters of March" and "Ipenema," (great songs!) it doesn't benefit from lyrics. But it does if Sarah Vaughan performs them.

  • Que coisa linda!

This is the most impressive, strong, deep and beautifull version for this song of Mr. Jobim. Even when compared with oders references like Joao Gilberto, Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald or Elis Regina.
