where are you doing this at? Do you know where I can buy the gear? Is it the same equipment as kiteboarding using a wakeboard? One last one, I assume snowboarding works just as easily?

The FUELs that Alex is on in the vid run ~$1000-1500 depending upon size, so yea. And even though the '06+ FUELs have a good range, you'll still need 2-3 to cover most all conditions. Definately would take a few season passes to equal out.

Uphill Skiing looks fun! How long does it take for a kite to pay for itself vs lift tickets?
Kite skiing is really going to take off, no pun intended. I grew up in Michigan which used to have plenty of snow, but it is flat as a pancake mostly. With some wind and a kite you can go as fast as you want on the wide-open spaces. Cornfeild by summer, ski resort in the winter?
