My Rooted G1 Running Huawei Pulse (ROM)

This is the Canvas UI of a phone only in Europe at the moment called Pulse. Its for T-Mobile and Huawei makes the phone. They managed to do something really nice with the Android OS.

I feel like Canvas hits all the right marks as far as the color scheme goes... There's just something so sexy about pink and light gray -even the glossy transparent black that finds its way into this UI.
The icons look SUPER nice as well. I find "the look" a MILLION times better than cartoony Cupcake/Donut and even prefer these icons over Hero's.
DEFINITELY prefer the look of this over Motorola Blur. But not over HTC Hero Sense UI.
Some of the apps are pretty plain aesthetically but that SHOULD mean that they load up faster and perform quicker. Hypothetically of course.
Over all the LOOK of Pulse is gorgeous.

The ROM runs TERRIBLE (on the G1) at the moment with force closes up the yin yang and its incredibly SLOOOOOW.
Works pretty well on the MyTouch (see ReignZone's video response!)

Wouldn't recommend anyone flashing it for daily use and if you're curious.... that's why I made the video =)

If this ROM will never reach Cyanogen speeds then I would REALLY REALLY like to see someone make a damn near perfect theme for one of Cyanogen's ROMs or even a Hero ROM (lockscreen included). I think I would pay money. LOL

EMOGAME dude-boy....im a big fan of your vids about the android OS and such...huge fan..ugh, btw, if you have that much money to throw around for the improvement of that ROM, why don't you slide that white G1 my way...I will pay "great thanks" ihihihihihihihihih btw, jsut got my white G1 last week, dont have data access yet to root it and be at your level of awesomeness....lol

@EmoGamer dude... jsut got around myt huge problem.. i knew i could get around it by using a sd card reader and try to flash something else... or redo the whole dreaimg.nbh, which i didnt even need to redo. just got JF 1.51 cupcake and worked wwell with my cw 1.4 recovery image and fastboot...now im trying to flash Amonra recovery image but the emulator command doesnt seem to find the recovery image on my sd card.. so im stuck..i really like those HERO ROMs..lol

OMG thats slow just like Tmobile is LMAO okay i have flashed my Xerpia X10 A and have like no idea where to go to get roms but i get how to install them just lost on how to find them. And do get service with Tmobile? it only roams where i live

I think you should get back to the original ROM cuz i have a huawei u8220=T-mobile pulse and its running this rom like 10x faster.
