I have a Parakeet, & im trying to teach her how to say i love you!

Its taking quiet a while. Right now all she really does is tilt her head to the side & stare at me! Im not sure if its working or not. Can all Parakeets say somthing?

@skittles1o12 trust me, she is learning, especially when you repeat something over and over. I've heard that female keets are less likely to speak, but some do. Corbyn learns a new word or phrase within 2 days if I continously repeat it to him. He loves learning. He gets really quiet when he knows its a new phrase then starts pecking at my lips everytime i say it, then i'll notice during the day he'll start to practice it, and eventually he masters it in a week.

He cannot say anything with an "F" in it, but still tries which is funny. This video is quite old. He was only about 5-6 months old in it. Now he knows SO many things that he jumbles them all together and he ends up making no sense at all, it just sounds cute! lol Good luck making your little keet talk!

@pinkdog01 he is only a yr old. If i continue a saying or word he learns it in only a few days
