A Rose Like Emily

This is a movie I made about a little girl in our church. She was born with Down Syndrome. While she was still in the womb, her mother was informed that there was a 10% chance that the baby would have Down Syndrome and was advised to test the baby "before it was too late." This, of course, meant before it was too late to abort the child. Naturally, the mother refused. Emily is a blessing to all who are around her. She is full of happiness and has a smile for everyone.

Over 90% of babies are aborted if test results reveal that the child has Down Syndrome. These tests are not even completely accurate. Aborting babies is wrong; it is murder. Killing a child for convience's sake is wrong. Why would you want to kill a baby, quench the life of such a precious life?

Hi! I am the blessed Mother of this beautiful child! Thank you, Southernbelle93 for posting this video. I feel for those who will never know the love of a child like Emily Rose due to their own selfish desires for a "perfect" child. Emily Rose is wonderful! I pray she will help to change the ignorant ways people with Down syndrome are viewed.

Hi there, my world famous Latin High School Latin Teacher had a daughter with Down Syndrome and she taught us alot about acceptance. She was well spoken and I'm pretty sure she was smart enough to know what an abortion.

Parents faced with having a disabled child face much adversity. Some adversity is medical. But alot of it is man-made.
