As a matter of fact watching some of the production line videos it seems that they pull random cars off the assembly to be dyno tested to make sure the line is moving correctly and make sure all engines have even performance, so i know for a fact that those numbers are right.

What it is is a difference in how the pipes run maybe the difference in the size cam they run, it could be ANYTHING, who knows, all that i know is that theyve both been tested, gxp at 415 hp camaro ss at 426. Im certain gm has tested these cars several times in a row, so im sure those results are pretty accurate....

o and the camaro ss and g8 gxp are actually tested and rated both at 0-60 in 4.6 seconds after a few seconds its only a matter of time before the slightly higher hp will take over :/, several cars in the past have had the same engines and rated at different hp by the way, look at the 2001 camaro and vette

O and yes the auto and manual have different engines, not sure why but they sure do, just go to wikipedia and look up camaro 5th generation and scroll down to production, so the kid playing his xbox and shaving his legs was right kind sir.

Okay the new camaro is pushing 426 in the manual with the ls3 in it, its called wiki by the way were you can go find that, and the automatic is pushing a little over 400 with a l99 under the hood, and before you start saying anything go look it up so that way i dont have to argue about this, not trying to prove anyone wrong i just know my cars.
