Heard this once in 2010, missed it in 81 because I deviated from pop music back then and favored Black Sabbath, BOC, Grateful Dead, and Rush. Oh well, I also missed Sausalito Summernight by Diesel too, another great one from that era (ie fall 81). Got tired of hearing Joe Scarbury, Frankie and the Knockouts, Stars on 45 etc. and I was a 8th grade rebel too. I guess this song epitomized the end of Southern Rock too, pre MTV.
