  • "groovy purple shirt" - I'm sure there were no drugs involved with this ;)

  • Man, I hope he knew how attractive he was... I like how he introduced the song, he seemed genuinely happy.

  • Sounds better live than the the recorded version....Andy Anderson was an underrated drummer

  • MUSICAL ORGASM!

  • Great Porl on sax!!

  • Yes!! Give me it!! Love this man!! Robert is so amazing!! Hot Damn!! ILY Robert!! The Cure forever and always!! :) ♥

  • the crowd is sleeping in a deep sleep!!!

  • My favorite Cure song. My band Cinnamon Toast recorded "Piggy In The Mirror" for a Cure tribute CD called "Give Me The Cure", but this was our first choice.

Sadly, after MANY demo attempts, I decided I couldn't do it justice. But Robert Smith told me that the band loved our version of "Piggy."

I'm glad I didn't go thru with this one. I didn't have the angst necessary to pull this one off. This is beautiful. Thanks for posting.

  • This drumming reportedly got drunk one night & threatened to kill the other band members.Long story short; he's not their drummer anymore.

One of the hardest Cure songs.I love it.Thanks for uploading this

  • Great performance and lineup right here of The Cure. I love this live performance of Give Me It, definitely has a heavy metal type influence with the guitars and hardcore drums. Andy Anderson was definitely a beast on the drums especially on this song. Porl's saxaphone part is very well added with great measure along with the drum solo at the end of the song.

  • @1000sachenmuell Porl's sax part was incredible on the "Concert" album and I've never heard another live version, in which he comes close to matching it.

  • @caryjudd That line makes me think of "Jodie" the purple pig, in The Amityville Horror. Jodie had red eyes too.
