  • What a great video. This is all I've been thinking about "that day". I'm going to be tested this week, maybe tommorow. All I can think about is, although I'm sort-of prepared to receive the news that I'm positive, Im not sure how I will react or how I should react. As you said, this will be a day that I never forget ....

  • @ninjask8ter: This is Eric. I'm glad you liked Cory's message. Good job on getting tested. If your result is HIV+, don't panic, just follow your doctor's instructions and consider this something you will need to manage going forward. Lots of people live long, happy, meaningful, and even healthy lives even though they have a chronic infection of one kind or another. You can too. Good luck & best wishes!

  • i have no sympathy... sorry, next time don't be so overtly sexual

  • @etoilespluie: The fact that you have no sympathy says much about you and nothing about Cory. Develop some humane compassion for others who have an incurable disease.

  • hey. i recently got tested and im waiting for my results.. kind of scared. Is there any way of getting in touch with corey?

  • Not sure. You could try reaching him through the HeIntendsVictory dot com web site. I met him through that organization. They have a contact phone # listed on their web site at the bottom of the page. Whether or not you can reach him in particular, I'm sure they'll be happy to talk to you about your concerns; I believe that's part of their service. Also see the CDC-INFO number listed on the CDC web site which is another phone counseling resource.

  • you knew that the personwho infected you was carrying the virus but you still went ahead and had unsafe sex with them anyway??

  • I was recently diagnosed with AIDS and I have been sort of fascinated with the "denialist movement" (people that believe HIV/AIDS isn't real and that people who accept that they have it are brainwashed zombies). If there's anyone who can have a sane, rational conversation about it, please contact me.

  • i live all alone in canada and i become hiv+ 3 years ago.. i started to fucus inside not outside. in silence i was able to shot down my mind by meditation and in my amazment something behind my mind got up.then , i could feel different see different.i am happy to live just like the way i live .. i really like your video and i feel so much similarity .. we kinda look like as well ;)

  • cory, thank you for all that you are doing and what you have done! first off thanks for the video, it was inspiring to me, i recently found out that i am hiv positive, and i was beside my self when i found out at a free teseting center, thanks for your encouraging video ,i have since gone back to church and re-newed my faith !

  • very well said

  • im happy that you have such a positive outlook cory.but im sad that youve turned your back on your sexuality because your faith convinced you that its wrong.perhaps you are scared of dying as a gay man because you think that you will go to hell.there is no cure for the virus just like there is no cure for one's sexuality.hope that you make peace with who you are one day

  • I'm sure that all gay people do have to deal with their differing sexuality: I understand your reactions about desiring a 'normal' marriage after your experiences in the gay world. However, I think it's a psychological reaction. I don't think it would work, as a gay person, however. There's too many testimonies of suppressed gay males who chose to marry first, and it isn't the answer.

  • Cory is a very courageous, humane person.
