Missile Command 3D is an updated classic for the Atari Jaguar. One of the things Atari did right was use the good ole classics as a basis for modern games.
This game is one of the best, in my opinion.
There are 3 modes of play:
Classic, 3D and Virtual.
The classic version is the original MC. 3D is just what it is, more of 3-dimensional, but your camera is in a stationary spot and you use the A, B and C buttons to fire from the different missile silos.
Virtual mode was supposed to be used with the Jag's VR Helmet, which was never produced for the masses, but a couple working prototypes are out there.
Even without a VR helmet, the virtual mode is very fun. You switch between the 3 missile silos, shoot lasers and missile from each one.
This video shows the "classic" mode.
Go get this game.... NOW!
Nice. I have Missile Command on the Saturn, but it doesn't come with that killer music. Wonderfully challenging game; I'm always firing my shots too close to the missiles so that the explosions only eat their dust.

Does it keep high scores on the classic game?

I really dig the music in this game. For some reason it reminds me of the music in Goldeneye 007 for the N64.
