Hey....we have these incredible birds in south bedfordshire now !! But people want them out of the sky- the dreaded 'persecution' word has reared its ugly head.

I would never have believed it !!! So many...why do they congregate like that?
I am stunned. I;ve seen kites in Wiltshire but only individuals.

It's an area well worth visiting, near Rhayader in central Powys, mid Wales- not just for the kite population, but for the beautiful scenery and the Elan Valley dams.
