LOL he is the guy who wrote Rails. He is saying that he doesn't care if you use his software because you don't think it scales, and he is right, he doesn't sell it and probably couldn't care less if anyone uses it or not. And he has every right to be arrogant, especially compared to some one like you, he wrote one of the most popular web frameworks on the web and you did what? say you hope he gets beat up? congratulations, I am sure he is very intimidated.

Rails is getting big, i mean BIG. Simple, functional and it does the job in an exellent way.
And for sure, this language has future, in my opinion it has already won Python.

rails isn't a language. ruby was around way before rails
