  • Can the cosmos have a positive outcome? Does the cosmos have a 'mind' of some sort? Is some sort of novel force 'ahead of' the cosmos in time - a "strange attractor" as the late Terence McKenna (a huge admirer of Whitehead) speculated? A fascinating idea. We may be embedded in a vast scheme of chaotic, yet meaningful movements towards a goal - a concresence. A glorious idea.

  • the expansion is accelerating and endless!

  • excelent video matt

  • An experiencing subject. The philosophy of how we got here makes sense. Now that we're here, now that we're experiencing subjects...let's express the wonder of that. How do we praise the wonderousness, and at the same time confront the daunting realities of life? Where's the bridge between philosophical appreciation and the pain of moral responsibility? The tormented psychology of facing a world less glorious. Seems to make the concresence less romantic.

  • Fascinating stuff. :) Especially the entire community in the universe concressing into a unique individual and perishing. Kind of seems to go with the cycle of the universe, expanding and contracting.
