A complete boat trailer kit. You put it together and save BIG on freight costs. Delivered 1 skid and 1 box. Nichols Trailer Company, Panama City, FL. 17-25 ft. trailers (850)871-6883
@shirleymae30 Your glaringly obvious weak spot is actually the strongest part of the trailer if you look at 3:17 and 3:41 you will see that the I-Beam frame is actually doubled up in that section (stacked one inside the other with a 24inch lap) making it very much stronger than an uncut solid frame trailer.
@shirleymae30 your insufficient comment is very confusing, If you indeed had a 23ft boat that weighed 6100lbs (Highly unlikely but possible most weigh 3500-4500lbs) and pivoted the trailer in place with say a forklift u may actually bend something but that would also effect a none kit trailer in the exact same way. If you indeed had a 23ft boat that weighed 6100lbs i would suggest going with 2 5200lb torsion axles.
@rookkb5 ... The torsion axles each take almost the full load weight (plus some) in turning situations, and thus are insufficient !!!. Also one of the most glaringly obvious weak spots would be about a third of the way back from the front of the trailer, where the front of the trailer attaches to the main portion of the frame. The weak spot can clearly be seen at 4:00 min. mark ( just ahead of the right wheel fender). But to be fair it is a kit and as such there will always be some weak spots.
@shirleymae30, The trailer in this particular video is for a 21-23 foot boat, it has 2 3500lb torsion axles giving it a 7000lb GVW remove the weight of the trailer approx 900lbs and your looking at a 6100lb capacity. I may have run across two 23 foot boats in my lifetime that weigh anywere near 6klbs and i have been in the buisness for more than 25 years. Please point out your obvious design flaws as this is a 10 year proven trailer vs your hearsay
Now i know Not to buy a nichols trailer, as there were several obvious structural design flaws, and also the torsion suspension would be totally insufficient for the size and weight of the boat that a trailer of that size should be able to hold.
but looks professional at the end

I'd feel better through bolting those square tubes in addition to the U-bolts provided. But that's just me.
