See webBikeWorld.com for the full review, more photos and details. The Grip Lock holds the throttle and front brake closed to help prevent theft.

  • This is why I keep my motorbike under my bed.

  • @RandomDirectors That works good for those "midnight rides"!

  • Or you could just cut the front brake cable down at the wheel and you could still roll it away.

  • Yes - again, there are many ways a thief could easily steal a motorcycle; this product is only meant to help prevent casual theft by opportunists.

The brake lock also helps keep the bike more secure if it's windy or otherwise - it keeps the bike in place and prevents it from rolling and dropping, which happened to one of the webBikeWorld staff when the bike was parked during a windy rainstorm.

  • will this fit anybike as i was just about to order one then it asked for a bike name and model sooooo i duno?

as my bike is chinise buts its fine for what i need lol

  • I'm not sure, but I think it fits just about every standard bike but perhaps cruisers with big thick hand grips >1" diameter might not work, but I'm not sure.

  • I just bought one a few days ago. It seems to work pretty well. Not only does it keeps pressure on the front brake, it also immobilizes that throttle. Sure it can be defeated by someone with skill and patience, but it definitely is a deterrent!

  • You would probably be better with a wheel lock or Kryptonite chain. The grip lock is a great idea but I guarantee you could get around it quicker by just removing the brake cable or removing the handle bar grip and switches. I would like to see them make this thing out of metal.

  • yea true im going to buy one this week anyway

    depends where you live..

about the hacksaw thing you said lol

  • Yes, but as we said in the review, this is meant to help prevent casual theft or someone fooling around. Besides, not everyone carries a hacksaw in his back pocket!
