SUNY Geneseo- It Gets Better Project

During the Fall of 2010, the Geneseo community gathered together to share the message of love and hope. Our video is dedicated to the victims of bullying and to anyone who has ever felt alone in this world. Love conquers all and this is our message.

What straight couple are you referring to? Also, no one is talking about what its like to be gay. The people that shared things are gay. Those that said "it gets better" have different sexual preferences, but that doesn't matter. As humans, we know what its like to feel alone, judged, or ostracized. I'm Latina, so I do know.

Also, the person that came up with this is gay. I see how you may feel frustrated thinking that people have wrong assumptions, but that is what you are doing right now.

I hope that my story will help people know that life does get better! I chose not to kill myself and I have loved my decision because I have met many people, who I love dearly, many of them here at Geneseo. Given time you will find the same happiness!

PS. Love the shirts you all are wearing. That was my favorite event to host at Geneseo last year. I plan on hosting it again next year. :-)

Professor Savin-Williams of Cornell Univ. has done some research into bullying and suicde. It's a myth is that homosexuals commit suicide at a greater rate than others.

True love warns people of the consequences of living in sexual immorality. There are many medical, psychological and spiritual consequences of such reckless behavior.

I know numerous EX-homosexuals. One man came out of homosexuality at Buffalo State College last year. He thought he was born "gay" but now he is born again.

Straight people might not know what it feels to be gay, but that does not mean that we don't support and love you guys tremendously. It shouldn't be a project should be for gays by PEOPLE who love them.
