Curling Hair Using a Flat Iron - Fast Way and Tips

This is a requested video from my friends, Thanh and Jon.
I use this method quite often during the weekends because it's speedy, requires little effort, and looks nice. It's good for when I'm in a rush :) It also adds more volume to my flat hair.



Tips: I already mentioned the basics of curling hair in the video, but there are other tips I forgot to mention.

1) Flat Iron Brand - Because of the different brands, there will be different types of ceramics. Some work better than others. Be sure to use a brand with good ratings and/or brands that have proven to work. Researching pays off.

2) Heat - Some brands don't have a heat temperature control. This is not good because everyone has a different type of hair. Some have thinner hair and others have courser hair. Be sure to use a flat iron that has this heat control, so you can find your medium in temperature -- a temperature that isn't too cool and one that doesn't burn your hair.

2) Method - Some people get frustrated because they cannot manage to curl their hair with a flat iron. It's either because their a) flat iron brand is dingy or b) because they're not using the method(s) shown to them correctly c) they grab big chunks of their hair, so the heat doesn't go through.
