i think that Samantha Carter as a character is one of the best modern female characters created. She truly shows that women can be smart , strong, important and sexy :P. The characters is a great role model for girls and women.

Amanda Tapping is a great actress in the way she portrays that character. love it.

She's so beautiful, funny and articulate. And they never needed to sexualize her...that happened naturally anyway...it's kind of impossible to avoid when you've got a particularly hot actress running around in a military uniform (guys dig uniforms). However, at the same time she was a great female role model...intelligent, courageous and a a great team player. She's just an all round WIN!
