One thing I've wondered - aside from burning through them recklessly, why not just bomb the Darknuts?

There is an oddity in how the bombs work versus them. Something is glitched in how they are programmed and how they react to bombs. I forget exactly what it is, but there is some documentation out there about it if you look hard enough.
