I know what it's like to want a child, I can't have any due to having Cancer in 2009, Im fine now but unable to have children.. My husband and I foster. we hope to adopt in the future. Maybe you could get lucky doing the same. Good luck.. adoption cost 15-20K through Christian Groups.

Any adoption agency in your area will know these details. So even if you had to borrow the money upfront, you could probably repay easily by the next year.

It is true, we didn't have to pay any adoption costs... but everything is a tradeoff... I'm glad we could handle this situation but it's not for everyone. I do know that if you adopt through a private agency (look for some online, they gladly meet with you) a portion of the adoption fees are credited back to you on your taxes.

we had to bring this prescious baby to visit these incompetant parents weekly with the idea that she was going to go back to them. After a year and a half (of this agony) we were finally able to adopt.

Hi there. Just responding to your video. My husband and I tried for 13 years to have childen and went the way of fostercare to adopt our now 5 year old daughter. I would not trade her in for the world. She is mended to my heart!! BUT.... just a warning... fosterparenting is HARD WORK... OMG... we got her when she was 5 months old. She was failure to thrive; neglected. The plan is ALWAYS, reunification with biological parents soooo...

I spoke to her last night, she said that she went through a foster parenting class, She did foster 2 children before she started to foster her daughter. After about a month she let the social worker know, she would like to adopt her. The parents rights were already in process of being terminated, and that process took about a year. But she didn't pay to adopt Adriana, and because her daughter does have some behavioral issues, the state maintains health care and therapy for her.

Thanks!
Good Luck, The only thing I know about adoption is that my dad adopted my sister. I wish you the best... are you looking to adopt babies/children. If you want private adoption, GET A LAWYER! You are talking about a child that will be in your life FOREVER, you should be able to instill your beliefs etc. I think you being pen to a child up to 3 is very open minded. Again, good luck!

Hi there! Thank God for people like you and your husband. We, too, were looking into adopting after being unable to get pregnant for over 4 years. We came close to privately adopting a newborn this year but the mother changed her mind on the 2nd day. Since, we have not actively been seeking more adoption options. I think, like you, I keep thinking a teenage mother will drop her baby off at our door too. You are not weird! I pray that God will bring the right child to you in the perfect time!
