The Emil Show - Should Elian Gonzalez stay in Florida or return to his father in Cuba?

Interviewing several people about Elian Gonzalez at Al Lopez Park, Tampa, Florida, United States of America, 2000. At the time, Elian was living with relatives in Miami.

Elian Gonzalez's mother died while fleeing with him to Florida from Cuba. His father wanted him returned home. This was during the 2000 Presidential Campaign in Florida and clearly affected the outcome in which George Bush narrowly defeated Al Gore by several hundred votes.

Similarities can be made between this and the case of David Goldman and his son Sean Goldman in 2009. David's then-wife kidnapped their son and fled to Brazil. Brazilian courts have ruled that the father and son should be reunited but Supreme Court judge Marco Aurelio Mello has blocked it.

Compare the honest, on-the-spot reactions of several ordinary Americans to those of Brazilians today.

Su madre dio su vida por salvarlo de ese tiranico sistema.

Fidel castro presiono y manejo a el padre de Elian para que lo trajera y convertir el drama en un problema

politico del cual el hiba a salir vencedor ,sin importarle los sentimientos de todos los particiantes ,incluyendo a Elian.
