Always thought she looked super cool without the weapons pod attached; just as sleek as can be.

That beauty was obsolete because the transcontinental missiles: faster and cheaper but without personality. B-58 was so gorgeous!

It's big. The biggest one here. You know what else? It's got a lot of range. You know what I mean by range, don't you? I mean it can stay up for a long time. A very long time. And it's built firm and solid. Because it has to be because of it's tremendous forward thrust. And when this baby delivers its payload . . . devastating.

Yes, excuse your ignorant sidetrack. Don't like your local school board? How come you're not running for a spot on it then? Rather just gripe about it on Youtube I suppose.

The B-58 design isn't used today because it's hopelessly obsolete. It had a radar signature the size of Texas, and was really good at one thing - going really really fast. The reason old aeronautical technology like that isn't used is because newer technology is so much better.
