http://www.thewileyprotocol.com All the creatures on the planet follow a lunar cycle - 28 days at a time. When we are in articficail light we get off that cycle. Environmental endocrinology is how the world around you runs, light controlling appetitie, sleep controlling immune function, even the litght of the moon and its effect on melatonin.
Am facinated by this topic. But just wondering. If I don't even see the moon in my normal everday life.. does it affect me? Basically, you seem to be saying that our artificial light screws up the normal cycles of the sun and moon. But if I match my indoor lighting to those same cycles.. do the sun and moon still have any affect??
