'Relief at Rounders' is a night of music dedicated to the passion, healing, and most importantly-- the relief efforts in Tuscaloosa. The event, 'Relief at Rounders', will be held at Rounders on the strip Wednesday November 2nd, 2011 from 10 pm to 2am in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. There will be a five-dollar cover at the door and extra donations are appreciated. One hundred percent of the cover charge, five percent of all sales throughout the night and all donations will go to the Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund set up by the West Alabama Chamber Foundation Inc. In addition, merchandise from the relief group T-Town, Never Down will be on sale inside the venue. All proceeds from purchasing T-Town, Never Down merchandise will be donated to the Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund as well.

On April 27th, 2011 a mile wide tornado claimed 52 lives and destroyed twelve percent of Tuscaloosa leaving more than 7,000 people unemployed in less than six minutes. The twister affected many of the students and artists involved in planning this concert. 'Relief at Rounders' will serve as a way to give back to the community that came together for them in their time of need. While half a year has passed and much of the world has forgotten about what happened in Tuscaloosa on April 27th, this group of college students has made it their mission to keep relief efforts relevant and newsworthy.

'Relief at Rounders' will showcase the finest music Tuscaloosa has to offer. Musical acts will range from The Sean Rivers Band, a country band well known for their song "My Mind on Tuscaloosa" to Bo Latham, a hip-hop artist who will premiere his song "4/27/11" live for the first time. Other acts include The Trophies, a familiar act to rock n' roll fans in Tuscaloosa, Wynt Earley, a hip-hop staple in the Tuscaloosa community, and DJ Houndstooth, the Capstone's favorite DJ.
