@nunoncastors You sir, seem like the sort of bloke I would get along with very well, what a top reply that was mate!
Therefor I shall agree to disagree with you, apologies for calling you a cager (cager = car driver, as they are protected by a metal cage)
-
@sirarrgh While it is true that I envy fixie riders and their rad, no holds barred counter culture where the only rules they play by are their own, I have no idea what a cager is and therefore no idea what you're on about.
I do accept the inference that life is competitive at all times. Why, if there's one thing that truly angers me it's people with single speeds overtaking me and "winning".
As for the rest, u-huh, you justify it however you want.

@nunoncastors Whats wrong with squeezing between traffic?
In bumper to bumper traffic cyclists and motorcyclists are allowed to filter through
and the cycle lanes here are a mess. You seem to be a cyclist, so you should know damn well that cycle lanes are often unsafe to ride in, and cause far more issues that riding with the cagers does.
My guess, you're a pissed of cager whos sick of seeing the fixies overtake him on the way to work.

I liked the bit where you continuously squeezed between traffic, undertook when it suited you and largely ignored the cycle lane.

@kmcyc Now via the Grauniad bike blog!

And that's where these handy cycling videos on YouTube can help! :)

@Testedecazzo Most of us are fairly stupid and lazy so we have difficulty imagining an alternative.
-
@Testedecazzo Not sure,but i cycle to work everyday to avoid just that.
I don't get it- the blue lane looks free. There were a few opportunities where I'd have moved into it.

@thelukeandrews
I see your point but at 0:21 when there was a good looking opportunity to move across I'd spotted a couple of cars signalling a left turn just ahead so stayed where I was to avoid conflict with them. Following this at 0:31 I stayed put noting the bus ahead and knowing there was a bus stop coming up. That pretty much meant staying in the middle until after the lights due to the volume of traffic and of course avoiding being on the left near a possible left turn.
