Like the previous video where I did a piano cover for Meltrode, I did a piano cover for the (rarely seen) credits screen, which was again done by Masamichi Amano. But unlike the previous one where it was all done by piano, I added a Harpsicord sound using the MagicSF soundfont (one of the best soundfonts out there) along with a Draw Organ to give it a little more bass toward the middle.
I think this is all of the Quest 64 songs I like, I have some other games that I did rearrangements of using the MagicSF soundfont that aren't as melancholy sounding...
This song was tracked and mixed with LMMS (Linux Multimedia Studio) with using the original MIDI composition from the game as a guide, then was (poorly?) made into a video with Pinnacle VideoSpin.
Nicely done! I'm surprised to see that this was done in LMMS.
