I've got an AES Machine with a MVS converter that I'm gonna try and install this bios. Ever hear of anyone trying to do that? Is all you need to do is a little solder?

Yeah, there won't be any problem with the converter at all seeing that this bios can basically be switched around into the different machines. You do need a little solder, a 15k resistor and you need to cut one connection on the pcb but it can be tricky. If you cut too low, you'll damage the pcb and be screwed. This way is called the "Piggyback Method". the other way is to de-solder the old bios and put in the new one this one is recommended but takes more skill for sure.

Um, huh. Thanks for that. I'm kinda confused by the directions you put here. Is there an idiot manual for doing this that might help me? Mainly the resistor part and the pcb cutting. Thanks again for your help.

You can check out my repairs, mods vid and see what I'm talkin about. Just pause it when you see the Neo-Geo Pics and you can see one wire wrapped around to the other side. Also. if/when you buy a Universe Bios, Google "Universe Bios and it will take you to the home page and from there you can get the instructions.

How do I access the bios menu if I am in arcade protect mode? I just got my neo and I have no idea how to get back to the menu because I read that when your in that mode you cant use the button combo?!
