@pearldrummer1293 yes. ppl hear the pilot's chatter and think it's bravado and cowboy-ism, but really, those guys were relieved more than anything. relieved that they could eliminate today's enemy and live to see tomorrow. their job gets really dangerous when the rpgs start streakin across the sky. and so what if they were enthusiastic at times? its good to like what you do.

@Ghostcavador agreed. also, it's easy to call them 'civilians' bc theyre not part of a centrally organized military force like the army or marines, and the word 'civilian' conjures images of a frightened, weaponless non-combatant who wants only to flee the battlefield and/or emerge intact. the douchey narrator wants them perceived as victims by the audience. But they were armed men, they were combatants who sought war by holding weapons. At least they got what they wanted.

watched the video. apache crew identified a threat, men armed w guns and rpgs, waited until given clearance, and fired on the enemy. Any embedded journalist standing next to men with guns in a warzone should expect no less. what of the many journalists traveling w US forces who've been killed/wounded by much less discriminate IED attacks? Also the 2 children were in the van and never in the apache's view. the fault therefore falls on whoever brought children to a warzone.

@hawkiemarine17 No need to go anywhere else. The USA allowa freedom of speech so this man and any other is entitled to speak as you well know and as you have bravely volunteered to put your life on the line to defend this. Then there is no need for this man or any other to live any other place if they think that they have a better idea. There's nothing wrong with what he says, it's direct but respectful. If it offends then maybe he's right.

@mschristinejm Yikes...How will I sleep tonight after that riveting and well thought out scolding?
You should be hung for treason.

We have freedom of speech in this nation for a reason: so that people can express their views on whatever issues they feel need to be adressed. I am enlisted in the Marine Corps and I WILL fight for your right to say whatever you want about this nation and its military. For you and all the other people in the U.S. who think they'd be better off somewhere else; I encourage you to try it. You'll find out VERY quickly how blessed you were to have been born into this country.
