@Lotmeister In the defense of Harold Ramis, he was conned by Warner Bros. into writing this sequel, against his better judgement. He left early in the proceedings and even wanted his name removed from the credits. Even he didn't want a sequel.

Unfortunately there were a lot of these in the late '80s... kids (like me) would see a "dirty" movie like "Caddyshack" or "Revenge of the Nerds" on video or on TV, and eventually the studios figured out they could milk a few more bucks off them by making kid-friendly sequels rated PG or PG-13. Of course something got lost in the translation, even more so than with the usual sequel formula. Terrible.

The Nostalgia Critic should definitely do a review of this movie.
It's one of the worst sequals to any movie I've ever seen.
