Job corps is a shithole filled with trashy people, I went there for a few weeks, Saw the gang problems that exist in the facility, there's also some heavy drugs being sold in most job corps, Its filled with ghetto garbage, Get your ged at like a ged tutor instead of going through that shithole of a system.

@AhhBoyStudios After you complete the program. They will help with section 8 housing or you can use your $1200 transitional money for your apartment. Warning: taxes are taken out. Regarding finding a job. A Career Transitional Specialist(CTS) will be assigned to you. They will provide support up to 1 year, after you separate from the program. Support includes: Job referrals, referrals to Job fairs, contact with colleges, assistance with housing, childcare, and transportation.

Question for job corp do they actually help you and set you up with a place to live and give you a good job and anyone who graduated from jobcorps actually have a great job from it and live a pretty decent life?

Here's a dirty little secret. Normally, if you wish to join the US military with a GED. You need to possess 15 college credits, unlike their regular High school graduates. However, there is another way to join. If you go to Job Corps and complete a trade. You are automatically re-classified as tier 1. Removing the college credit requirement and 50 AFQT score in the process! This way you don't incur thousands of dollars in college debt, for a mere 15 credits.
