i know it sounds funny but when i tried this it made me very hungry

:-) It is good to eat at least 1 hr before or after Qigong as with all forms of exercise. This way especially when trying to maintain a focus on the breath, our minds are not distracted by our body trying to tell us that it needs Qi in the form of food ;-) LOL. Enjoy practising ;-)
