  • I have the sonata hybrid premium. Get 45mpg hwy @ 65-78mph (important to use cruise cntrl, or drops to 38.). With mixed driving, getting 32-38. Handling is incredible, power is not lacking. Ive never had a new car where so many strangers approach me and rave about it. Its appearance is ultra modern, high quality, and sporty(It looks expensive). Whether this is good or bad is up to you. Features equal the Acura TSX, but looks far better! I see the Acura drivers jealous stares at stops!

  • @aarongayle1984 Not all of us, just this geek!

  • @aarongayle1984 This is a car review show, not an American ad.

  • @tcbecht88 If you don't want a struggling economy maybe next time when the govt. and banks get together and ditch the "old" system of doing things and start handing out loans to every poor idiot they can find, maybe then we won't have another economic meltdown. To make things worse gas price are climbing yet again because nobody is putting pressure on Washington to allow us more domestic drilling. Spending money on ridiculous car Unions has nothing to do with the economic recession.

  • Why are Americans so cheesey when selling everything

  • @joewillgo Where does the money go? Where is the comapny based? If its based in America, like Ford, the money stays in america. The majority of the money is in America. While Hyundai assembles their cars in America while most of the money goes overseas. Yes, Half of Ford DO have Smart Key Systems...but not hybrids because it drains the battery when the vehicle is off. Schools out SON.

  • @tcbecht88 Ok, But half of Fords cars DO have Smart Key System in them, so what do you got to say to that? And Hyundai's are made in America, so I don't know what you are talking about.

  • @joewillgo The reason Ford does not incorporate a Smart Key System is because while the car is off, it is constantly 'looking' for the key. Which drains battery like, which in turn reduces fuel economy. And as far as Hyundai building the cars in America, look at the economics. Hyundai produces the car overseas then ships the parts here for final assembly. The money is still going overseas. Yes, they do create a few thousand jobs; which is fine. But when purchasing a Ford. The money stays here.

  • @joewillgo Yes you are correct with most of your facts. The Sonata utilizes a lithium polymer battery while the Fusion uses a "less efficient" nickel metal hydride battery. Yet the Fusion gets 2 mpg more than the Sonata. The Fusion's styling is more common for those of us who do not wish to drive around screaming "look at me! I'm driving a hybrid! I'm cool!" The Fusion is for people who want to drive a "normal" looking car while saving a few bucks.

  • @tcbecht88 Ok, and Facts are FACTS. The Hyundai Sonata is MUCH more fuel efficient because it can run fully on electric power up to speeds of 74MPH! When the Ford Fusion can only go 41MPH in electric only mode. Plus, Hyundai's are made in America if you did not know that, so there giving American's jobs. Besides the Ford Fusion is very much outdated, and still does not offer a Smart Key System, and has a VERY OUTDATED car, the design of the Sonata is eye catching. So what do you gotta say now?
