The miata did not like to be pass by a FIATX1/9, that rear wheel drive can enter a turn with higher speed and get on the gas sooner then the miata without loosing traction, so the FIAT can always out do most cars in corners. I have a 74 FIATX1/9 and I LOVE IT !!!!

looks like you comitted to the outside of the turn, cut back across and did not give racing room.

BTW: appears to be the Miata's fault of course. You had the line, closed the door, and boom. I guess he carried too much speed into the turn!?
