Lamented Souls - Essence of Wounds

Lamented Souls feature Simen "ICS Vortex" Hestnæs (of Dimmu Borgir and Code, and formally Arcturus and Borknagar) on vocals and bass. They are his longest running band, however they have yet to release a proper album.

@horner3000 Thats why you come to Vancouver, Canada and go to Scrape Records. They have all of it. anything you could imagine. Anything from old obscure black metal, folk metal, pagan metal to the more popular well known bands. IF for any reason he doesnt have what you want he will order it, vinyl or otherwise

America pisses me off!

every time I try to buy music thats actualy good online or in stores Lamented souls,Sodom,Blind Gaurdian,Ghost,Gorgoroth,Emper­or,etc none of these bands and many more are avalible in America or are REALY hard find! But shit pop music is shoved in your face every day! And we wonder why our country is fucked up

@bookworm1138 I'm not gonna hate. I just think it'd be better if he and Mustis go back. Dimmu ain't the same anymore. I doubt they will simply return though. They hate Shag with a passion now. I'm hoping one day Shagrath will get kicked/quit/die/whatever and that Vortex and Mustis return. They should get

i know this going to get hated on immensely, but i'm rather glad vortex isn't in dimmu borgir anymore. think about it! now he can FINALLY release a Lamented Souls album, maybe some new Borknagar stuff (how epic would it be to have him AND mr. v singing together?), bring back Arcturus...not to mention his solo project...
