I sat there and saw joe walking up to me. When he saw me he smiled. I still dont get used to that. I got up and ran to him and kissed his cheek.
"I see you got my note." I said still holding on to him.
"it was pretty bright." he said laughing. He kissed me and rested his forehead on mine. "I love you ya know" he said.
"me too joe." I looked at him and he seemed distant. Like if something was on his mind. "are you ok?" I asked.
"uh. Yeah. Im just tired ya know." he took my hand and we wallked over to the blanket I had laid out. "whats the special occasion?"
"I dunno. I just wanted to spend time with you. Havent really had time to ourselves." he smiled and wrapped the extra blanket around the both of us.
"I know. Im sorry its just baseball and everthing. And Im freaking out about going to college."
I cuddled closer and wrapped my arms around him. "do you HAVE to go?"
He laughed and looked down at me. "yeah kinda."
"its just gonna suck when you leave for school and Im still stuck here."
"wow. I never really thought about it. But lets not ok. We still have a lot of time to go."
"ok."
"so hows my song coming along?" he had a crooked smile on his face.
"its. Coming." I laughed.
"you havent even started it huh!"
"yeah I have so! Its just not perfect yet."
"riiiight."
"well what about my picture huh?" I said sitting up.
"oh sweetheart that was done AGES ago. Joe jonas does not procrastinate." he said proudly of himself.
"mmmhmmm. Sure."
"at least not when it comes to you." oh hes good.
"well lets just say it will be ready by Christmas."
"I was going to ask you about that. I was thinking if you wanted to spend Christmas Eve at my house. Just the two of us."
"what about your family?"
"well mom wants you over for dinner but then they are going to my uncles house. So well be all alone. What do you say?" he winked at me and raised his eyebrow.
"um. Ok. But what are we going to do?"
"well I was thinking..." he began to come closer to my face and I felt butterflies. "we could you know whatch a movie..." he kissed my nose. "and each junk food..." he then kissed my cheek. "and maybe do this..." he kissed my lips softly. He is driving me insane! "and this..." he went for my neck and I let go of my breath that I didnt notice I was holding. "and this..." he gently pushed me down onto the blanket and got ontop of me.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and returned his kisses after he went back up to my lips. We stayed kissing forever when I felt his cold hands moving up my shirt. I felt tense. As much as I wanted to I couldnt. I squirmed hoping he would get the hint. He then went down kissing my neck again and moving to my collar bone then down my chest.
"joe..." I said trying to stop him.
"what baby?" he said still pulling my shirt up and kissing my neck.
"its...um...late. I have to go." he slowly kissed his way up my neck to my jaw then to my lips planting one soft kiss.
"cant you stay a little longer?" he whispered resting his forehead on mine.
"Im sorry."
"its ok." he got up from on top of me and helped me up.
I felt so bad. This only makes me think that Im going to push him away towards judy. Because I know for a FACT she always gave it up to him. Shes just that easy. The ride home was, quiet. I sat there thinking about all of that. I looked over to joe who seemed concentrated on something too. What if he was thinking of her? We got to my house and he turned off the car.
"what are you doing tomorrow?" he asked.
"um. I kinda wanted to see if Michael wanted to hang out. I miss him ya know." i lied. i was meeting kevin to finish his song. i felt bad.
"ok. thats fine. You should." he smiled. But I knew he was kind of let down.
"goodnight baby." I said giving him a kiss. "I love you."
"forever and always." he said. It was now his thing. And I like that it made me feel better. "Ill call you later."
I nodded and headed home. I got to my room and say my phone on the bed. I opened it up only to see tons of missed calls. Most of them were selena, others from nick, and one unknown number. I went to my texts and saw again a lot from selena.

-why dont you answer ur phone!-
-where r u?-
-ur killing me here!-
I laughed to myself and promised I would call her before I went to bed. Then I saw one from nick.
-need 2 talk.-
That was strange. He usually signs it with a happy face. And then one from that same unknown number.
-you looked beautiful tonight-
I was confused. This wasnt joes number. And I didnt even recognized the area code. i called joe and he said someone must have made a mistake. he had a point. but it still bothered me.
