Battle Chess NES Review

This is my review of Battle Chess for the NES. No walkthrough for this game because it simply cannot be walked through. I'm not abandoning the review/walkthrough formula, but I don't want to limit what games I can cover, so now and again I'll do videos like this.

Only someone stupid came up with the rule of pawns taking pawns horizontally. They're ONLY meant to take each other diagonally, PERIOD.

The horizontal rule only works if the attacking pawn has moved 2 spaces on its first move and there is a pawn in the adjacent space. It's called "en passant" and it actually is an official rule.

I love this game. The programming for the computer character is amazinlgly good, and i've never had the game glitch up on me.

Why is the picture so pixilated? Unlike the new ones where it looks very crisp and not pixilated

I was around 5 when I played this game. I didn't know what the hell was going on and when I would get in a "battle" I would mash buttons and hope I won...

Very good review. I'm certain, this is not my next game. It seems like a cool idea, but just how long it takes, and easy not being very easy, I'll pass.
