What makes these bikes so much better (in my opinion) is that these bikes are made of Chromo steel. Aluminum (even with shocks front and back) is too much vibration for me in the long haul 3+ miles. My local bike dealers think I am a NUT for wanting a steel bike? To me, my old steel bike is so much smoother than my new Aluminum bike with shocks. I would like to hear other responses on the steel vs Aluminum. Are there any other Steel bike fans out there?
