It was never the victim's fault. It doesn't matter if they were dressed very inappropriately or had no clothes on at all....it doesn't matter if they had too much to drink, how flirty they were....it is ALWAYS the perpetrator's fault. None of this gives the perpetrator the right or invitation to sexually assault.

I am sorry that you were assaulted...

People tend to either do that or shoot the victim looks of disgust...when I was sixteen, I was assaulted in public. My brother was with me, but he was frozen in shock. Workers nearby didn't do squat, and two girls who walked past shot me a dirty look...
