  • Karen I remember you, and those desperate leaps;

    how we wished to touch the stars, and burn bright.

    Karen we were always doomed;

    the darkness settles slowly on some of us, but settle it does upon us all.

    Tonight I remember you Karen with love in my heart for our desperate flights.

    Still I hunger, and leap like a fool;

    Karen do not feel too bad; do not feel cheated,

    rather I should.

    Still i love you.

  • Karen I remember you;

    your desperate flight,

    that chase into night.

    I remember delicate secrets, an understanding that moved between us;

    though I hardly knew you.

    I did not say it then.

    Karen I remember you,

    and that is true.

    I love you.

  • Once again i come to this place of lost dreams; we are all damaged by life, by ourselves, our parents. Myself, i am a man that longs to be touched, as i once touched you. That understanding that moved between us was silent, for we both knew we were lost. And though I never told you then I tell you now we are both lost, lost to the sun, I still remember you I love you and I wonder
  • As tragic as this is, it's the type of thing that inspires great poetry. Well done, John!

  • This song is for Karen but Debbie too; I understand, I have been there too. We must choose.Who else can,we are doomed. Lost in reflections, we are shadows that hunger for home; light that burns so bright, we must run from it. Run into the night, the fright; We shimmer, we fade; what else can we do to shine in this night. Karen, I love you, true. Karen, I remember you. Though i never said it, we were dashing shadows in the night. I never thought, or took the time, to think;
  • Thank you, Dave.

  • Top grade and Beautiful
