  • Thanks for the videos, they are always of great help.

A question about venting. Single, double or no vent!

Are they all in these days or is there any style which is more in fashion and other is outdated?

  • Single or double is the most stylish. I would avoid non vented jackets.

  • Hi Aaron, I discovered your videos last night and have now watched and enjoyed all of them. Thank you for all of the great tips!

You said that certain coat buttons should be buttoned when standing or walking. Should 3-button or 2-button coats ever be left completely unbuttoned when walking or standing, such as in a casual environment, night on the town, etc.?

Also--are white linen suits (1980s Miami Vice) still fashionable? I doubt it, but I've always wanted one for laughs at least.

  • you can always wear a jacket unbuttoned when walking around. It is your choice. When you walk in to a place or meet someone for the first time...button it, but it is just a show of respect. As for the white suit...go for it! You will be a hit at the next 80's theme party!

  • Hey Aaron! You're a great consultant.

    I need your help.

I am looking for a casual winter coat/jacket (with jeans and shirts).

Anything that is stylish and can withstand daily use.

    What should I get?

Black, Gray, or Navy Wool Peacoat?

    Black leather bomber?

Cardigan coat (a cardigan that is heavy in the fabrics to keep you warm)?

or just a regular cotton military coat?

    or others?

  • Pea Coats are great! They are a classic winter coat that looks great with most outfits. I would get one in a nice charcoal gray. You can dress it up or down!

  • You're head looks tiny.

  • So does Suit Jacket mean it has accompanying pants? And it is only the 2 vs. 3 buttons that factor how much of your undershirt will show?

  • btw, if anyone's wondering, the song in the intro is a remix of the song Angels and Devils by Dishwalla. I can't seem to find the remix Aaron used tho :\

  • Hi Aaron thanks for your videos, there often very informative. I was happy to learn about vents. I dont know if it was the cut of frame of the video but it seemed like the coat you are wearing in this video look ultra chunky. The arms are like blocks and the shoulders very square. Personally I thought it looked to blocky.

  • @M5Beast Also when is it appropriate to throw on the sport coat vs just rocking a nice t-shirt or dress shirt

  • Would love to see a blazer/shirt pairing video

  • omg I think mind is sports coat then... grey colour... plastic button and its from zara...whats best to wear inside the sports coat...need ur help!

  • What brand is the blazer you have on in the video?

  • Ok i have a problem... I found this really amazing blazer at a thrift store and its perfect...except its a womans blazer - the button is on the left side. Its fits me well and i like it because the slim cut...will people laugh at me because im wearing a chicks jacket? I mean it fits me damn it...it's only those stupid buttons on the wrong side.

    THE BLAZER HAS SURGEONS CUFFS!
