@propker100 -- You *do* realize, do you not, that this video is supposed to depict World War I and not World War II...meaning that the Germans were the Kaiser's troops and not Hitler's??
It looks as if you could stand to brush up on history a little yourself!

Wonderfully imaginative, with McCartney playing both the British and German soldier who accidentally switch photos of their wives and children when their truce is disrupted.

people still call Germans they arn't all bad you know?
it was only hitler, most/all germans hated hitler was against him
but he would kill them if they did not respect him, they aint all bad
people just need to grow up now a days and actually learn history.

I have loved this song for a long time and have watched this video several times, but just today I read about this temporary truce happening and it was really touching. This video means much more to me now. Thank you.

The fact that Germans and Brits forgot the war and played a football match on xmas day is proof enough the common man is the same wherever you come from, the wars only serve the rich.....................fuck the wars , fuck nato and fuck zionism.

My great grandfather (1881 - 1953) was in WWI a Belgian Soldier, and he survived this war without any wounds (He also didn't had mentally damage), but on Christmas, 25th Decemer 1914 on 0:00 A.M., he and some other soldiers heard the Germans (on the other side of the Yser river) singing: "Silent Night", and the Belgians Soldiers also began to sing "Silent Night". The next morning, the fight continous, but he never forgot that little moment of peace.
