Join me on a journey through the Tongass National Forest, which is threatened by clear-cutting. President Barrack Obama's Administration has authorized the clear-cutting of hundreds of acres of old growth forest, with the Forest Service planning 676,000 acres of clearcut logging of ancient forest. This are supports tens of millions of salmon, and a tourism and fishing industry with more than 30 times more jobs than the logging industry.

  • WOW misinformed morons, i live in Ketchikan, you probably don't know where thats at but it is the tongass national forest. The Ketchikan pulp mill that went out of business 15 years ago employed over 500 people not counting the dozens of logging contractors, barge companies, mechanics shops, local business and money for infrastructure. The local fishing economy employs lots of people also but keep in mind that over half of these boats are from seattle NOT Alaska. Idiots eat shit and die!!

  • Wonder how much fossil fuel that ship and helicopter use, along with green house gas they send out into the atmosphere. Or are they powered by fairy dust?

  • Sound like an Indian..

  • You don't make any sense
