Video showing N900 into emergency autonomous mode..and hotswap your batteries when on low battery.
Steps:
1. Decrease brightness, switch to offline mode.
2. open terminal. gain root access and then type 'stop bme' without the quotes.
3. you now have 30 seconds to switch your batteries or sim cards.
4. come back to the terminal and then type 'start bme'
5 If the display light goes off dont worry just lock and unlock your phone.
