This is 50s/60s stock music. You know, the sort of thing they were hiring people to write and arrange back then. If you want to hear for yourself, start with anything by Esquivel. A good site to google for further reference would be Space-Age Pop (although I wouldn't stress the kitschy side of it so heavily, they do cover this area of interest better than anywhere else)

Your track is dead brilliant either way. Seriously, I wouldn't mind downloading a copy of the MIDI... if it's available?
