  • Am I Evil?

    Yes I am

    Am I Evil?

I am man, yes I am

  • @LostInAThousandDays See, I approved your comment! I thought it was rather good, and then I saw your other comment where you swear like a petulant child because we have comments pending approval - thus revealing WHY we have that! Still, your comment provides an opportuntiy to address the issue that, while men are not evil by their nature, evil is something chosen by men - and we should not see it as something outside us, purely an influence on us. We cooperate with it.

  • The reason politicians don't impose religion is because the first amendment separates church and state. Maybe the constitution is immoral. I don't know. Some of our founding fathers, like Benjamin Franklin, were not religious. Are you suggesting that America should be a Catholic theocracy? If so, they will have to make an amendment that counters the first amendment.

  • @spinemelter2000 The first amendment says Congress shall make no law respecting establishment of a religion, nor preventing the free exercise thereof. It doesn't separate Church and State in the manner you mean - in fact, the original use of the words "separation of Church and State" meant the state should not be allowed to influence religion, not the other way around. It has always been assumed religious convinctions will influence politicians and the body politic.

  • @Great8Earthquake I agree.

Before I became Catholic, I thought about playing the game by the evil-doer's way, by playing the game of Power. But, I soon realized that it's all self-serving. In the end, what good does it do you. You serve Satan, and the powers of this world, and in the end you end up serving evil.

  • Bravo lizzenator. I went to a semi-liberal Catholic high school where the had a "humanities" course" and the religion classes taught hindu death practices and other questionable pseudo Catholic teachings. My early years were during the era of The Latin Mass and the quior sung the responses of the priest. It was majestic. There were 5 or 6 priests at our parish and Comunion was given only by a priest, alter boy standing by with a patton and the communicant knelt at the altar rail and only in mou

  • I enjoyed watching it! I found it sad, however, that going to Catholic school didn't teach you enough of the faith. Thank God you still became a faithful Catholic! To Him, nothing is impossible!!! For example, I'm 19, went to public school, attend a liberal university, but I managed to fall deeply and permanently in love with the Lord. I strive to learn even more about the Church and to be a living testimony. Blessed be God for leading me to Him no matter where I am in this world!

  • It is very sad, but many of the bishops have really let the side down by their conduct.

  • The Land O' Lakes agreement was engineered to destroy higher catholic education , just as the Winnepeg Agreement in Canada paved the way for liberal abortion laws . Yep , both thanks to the majority of catholic bishops in both countries at that time .

  • Check out the main website (RealCatholicTV) - we have, this week only, a full ep of The One True Faith on there for FREE! It focuses on the damage done to Catholic education.
