@xDrummerJx Joe Satriani is a thousand times better than Alexi Laiho, for God's sake; the thing is that Joe is very humble and that makes him a better artist. I'm not saying anything about "Christian Rock", DT or SX is not Christian Rock, but the fact that someone is a practicing and thinking christian or catholic says a lot, and you can't compare Bodom to SX or DT.. please don't do it.

@xDrummerJx I agree with you on that not only christian musicians can be awesome. But saying per definition that christian rock sucks is not correct because there definitely is good christian rock. You should always be careful with generalizing statements ;)

@faceurhell Hey I'm not saying that I want SX to change their music to christian music. I love their music and I love fantasy and the themes they write songs about! But it's good to know I can still enjoy their music when I meet them in heaven hehehe xD

@TheConfuter Symphony X, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, and several other metal bands have Christian members. Quite frankly as long as nobody is pushing their religion down our throats with their music, it's all good. (and that's coming from another Christian)

@riak678 Your theory is full of crap. You're saying mainly only the talented musicians of today are christian? That is just complete bullshit. There are many bands I know of that are atheist and have formed amazing music. Children of Bodom for instance? Alexi Laiho is a musical genius with his technicality and musicianship. Even Joe Satriani has admitted Laiho is a better guitarist and musician than he is. So get off your boat about how Christians are amazing musicians. Christian Rock sucks.

Are you serious?? Is SX full of christians??? Cuz they're my favorite band but I'd never expect them to be christians lol... i'm one myself as well so that would make me love them even more ^^

so what? it just means they were raised in a household or country which was of that specific belief...? if they were born in turkey chances are they'd be muslim, if they were born in china maybe theyd be buddhist, it has nothing to do with their musical or any other achievement in life... it is just another stupid way of labeling ppl... such as the sterotypes that all muslims are terrorists or that all jews are stingy ect ect... again religion proves a petty replacement for reason...

very senseful Elfogris1, I believe you ^^

Wait, was this really shown on TV? I mean, I know Symphony X has a pretty decent sized fanbase and all, but they don't seem popular enough to have a TV spot go on air.
Whatever, not like it matters anyway. Symphony X still fucking destroy mainstream emo and hardcore bullshit.
