I wanted to post this because it includes an ending that wasn't used in the movie or any productions of the stage show since the Off-Broadway production (in 2001). The writers changed the ending to a happier one.

Full show up for trade at: broadwaygurlboots.webs.com

NOTE: I did NOT record this.

  • The person who played Mae voices The Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3

  • "Jewish? ... Me TOO! :D"

  • @bother06 Yeah, I think it would really do it justice.

  • @bway1497 omg i just hit you thing and gave you a thumbs down by accident! and i would love a revival! im so obsessed with this show!

  • Paul Leighton played Uncle Sam Off Broadway. He was the Ralph Cover. Kassir could not play Uncle Sam with the original ending because he was still needed as the executioner to "accidentally" throw the switch and fry Jimmy.

  • I really think a full scale Big broadway Revival of this show would be great. As long as it is the movie version, i think it would be very good!

  • Hmmm...we know Robert Torti is George Washington....and Greg is Roosevelt....there's really no one else important who can cover Uncle Sam...so probably and ensemble member.

  • This is the ending of the Showtime movie?

  • "Body of me?" Has to be one of the funniest lines I've ever heard!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! [Yes the caps are necessary] So little footage of the original stage production exists.

I'm suprised though. On the official website it says they completely scrapped the LA ending and replaced it with The Truth when they moved to NYC, a bizarre but hilarious twist anyhow.

I just have one question. If Kassir is playing the executioner then who's Uncle Sam? Both roles are now part of Ralph's track.
