Native American Flute ~ AFTER THE RAIN by Lorrie Sarafin

This video will give you a glimpse into the sights and sounds I recently experienced on a two day camping trip to Sedona, AZ. The music is a Native American Flute composition I recorded inside Lower Antelope Canyon (which is just outside of Page, AZ on the Navajo Indian reservation) a few years ago.

"After the Rain" is a tribute to the 11 young men and women who lost their lives in a tragic flash flood in that slot canyon on August 12, 1997.




All of the Sedona footage was taken with a Canon FS-100 camcorder using a tripod. This is a neat little palm sized camcorder which records to a secure digital card - it has a 45X optical zoom and a 80X digital zoom.

All I can say is that I am extremely happy with this camcorder! Check out the hummingbird (full screen mode is best here) which buzzes the hawk at the top of the cliffs - that's at the 45X zoom...it starts at about 3:02 and runs to 3:08. The sounds are from two sources - the camera itself (which has a built in stereo mic!) and my little digital Edirol R-9 recorder....
