    Pommy Bashing.

Something anyone in the commonwealth (except britain and canada) can enjoy.

  • Sherlock used Headbutt.

    It was super-effective.

  • @Papped1710 Thanks so much for the explanation! I do a lot of web searching but not on this kind of subject so wouldn't have known, really, where to look, but I like to understand things. Never fear; I don't plan to try this myself! I avoid violence like the plague (& luckily live where it's not a constant threat), plus I'm not very coordinated & would likely hurt myself far more than an attacker if I tried something like this..

  • @pchamney The idea behind a proper headbutt is that you strike your oponent's head with a stronger part of your skull. For instance, you don't strike straight on, forehead to forehead, instead you strike with the bone above your eyebrow or a more solid part. In any case you can't do one without hurting yourself, the idea is you disoreintate the other guy more then follow up with something else whilst they're dazed. It's really a last resort.

  • @pchamney But I' think 'Star Trek' will more likely bring in the American audience. (I'm in the U.S. myself, but just guessing...)

  • How *does* a headbutt work? I keep thinking that both parties should be rendered unconscious. I guess I'll have to google it? If anyone knows, though, I'd love a reply explaining how it works. Re. the American series, I'm very disappointed with CBS for doing it; whatever they do, it will be derivative of 'Sherlock.' I suppose it'll attract the lazy American viewers who can't be bothered to watch BBC America or PBS ... maybe it'll get them to watch 'Sherlock,' though - who knows?

  • that was one scary face at the end

  • @BroadwayPirate1106 I'm going to boycott it without a second thought!

  • @gerardwfreak I will boycott it

  • The little table in the end is very stable, in spite of the weight of the collapsing moron ;p In American TV it would have been destroyed immediately! British handiwork :D
