Old bikes and new gifts: A Massachusetts couple takes on a tough economy

Mike and Daphne Kamenides' current careers are a tribute to the power of "trial and error." The Granby, Mass., couple were among the many who've been stung by a hard economy - Mike laid off from a car sales job, Daphne seeing her travel agency hard-hit by the incursion of the Internet. But a chance encounter pushed Mike toward a new passion - fixing up and reselling old bicycles. Add a gift shop run by Daphne out of the couple's home, and - like so many in the country these days - the pair are making a go of things on their own. GazetteNET shows their efforts.
